We have an ambitious transformation agenda – one with the scope to reach every part of the council. We are changing the way we think, the way we work, and the ways in which we deliver our services. We are committed to becoming a place where individuals, partners and communities feel proud to play their role and genuinely want to belong. We’re immensely proud of our flexible working options.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and energetic individual who will deliver Travel Training in classroom-based sessions in Special educational needs (SEN) Schools within South Essex. You will be leading the classroom-based sessions educating our students through a structured school based programme. The post holder will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and trust with both the student/client and their parent/guardian.
The ideal candidate will be constantly developing and improving session plans, power point slides and assessment material with a view of tailoring the course we provide to varying levels of ability, whilst retaining course value to students. The post holder will need to undertake an element of administration, we would require the post holder to update daily training records, risk assessments and reports on multiple devices including smartphone, tablet and laptop computer.
