On March 15, 2022, Environmental Health Services introduced an ordinance to approve amendments to Title 8 of the San Luis Obispo County Code.
On March 15, 2022, Environmental Health Services introduced an ordinance to approve amendments to Title 8 of the San Luis Obispo County Code. Most of the recommended amendments are being made to sections that have not been updated since the 1960’s and 1970’s in order to update referenced section numbers to the CA Health and Safety Code; delete outdated and preempted code sections; and make other clean up and reorganizational changes that reflect our current operational procedures. No new programs are being developed or proposed as a result of this cleanup effort. The recommended ordinance cleanup amendments will be heard at the April 5, 2022 Board of Supervisors Meeting.
