On May 29, the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention made an announcement that allows for Carnival Cruise Line to begin sailings once again out of Port Canaveral, Miami, and Galveston, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Carnival Cruise Line announced that they will allow test sailings to prove out COVID-19 safety protocols out of these three ports.

Now, it looks like Disney Cruise Line will follow Carnival’s lead as they have been approved for  test sailings out of Port Canaveral as well. It has been confirmed that a test cruise will take place starting June 29.
